What Can PPB Do?

If you need to discover a mixture of compounds within a sample from R&D, or you need to confirm certain compounds from a routine release, simply submit your treated samples and PPB will test them as required.

Using verified testing methods, PPB employs qualified experts to ensure maximum client satisfaction. Accordingly, they focus on providing accurate and timely testing services at an affordable price. PPB offers preliminary screening for analytes such as cannabinoids, pesticides, peptides, and other small drug molecules. In addition to analytical testing, their chemists are also able to help with sample purification, stability testing, method validation, and much more.

PPB’s Qualifications

The Government of Canada has licensed PPB for cannabis, microbiology, and environmental analyses. The Public Health Agency of Canada has authorized PPB as a secure and safe establishment. Thus, PPB protects the health and safety of the public against the risks posed by human pathogens and toxins. Additionally, the Government of Canada authorizes their cannabis analytical testing activities. This includes, but is not limited to, any combination of the following processes: chemical contaminants, microbial contaminants, cannabinoid content, dissolution or disintegration, sterility, stability testing and/or pesticides.

Currently, PPB is working towards ISO 17025:2017 accreditation for GMP, specifying the general requirements for the competence to carry out tests and/or calibrations, including sampling. It covers testing and calibration performed using standard methods, nonstandard methods, and laboratory-developed methods. Importantly, ISO 17025:2017 should be acquired within the year.
