The Hitachi LaChrom Ultra UPLC L-2400U UV Detector specializes in fastest detection and extreme sensitivity. With their extremely low detector response times of 10 ms, this detector is able to register even the narrowest of rapidly eluting peaks with a high degree of precision. It’s designed on the double-beam photometer principle in conjunction with a rating monochromator and provides the highest possible sensitivity even at the fastest detector response times. With the help of the different spectral emission lines generated by the deuterium and mercury sources, wavelength calibration can be carried out over the entire wavelength range. In contrast to calibration filters (e.g. holmium oxide) that also have to be calibrated themselves, the emission lines of the lamps represents a primary reference standard so that they need not be recalibrated. For ease of maintenance, all lamps and the flow-through cell are accessible from the front of the instrument.
